Add co-author pages in the menu

Hi there!
I see that in editing the menu of my site, I can easily add “pages” of co-authors. I can even add all the co-authors at once, and in alphabetical order, which I think is great. But unfortunately the links on these pages are not of the form https://www.mydomain.com/author/charles-chaplin/, but of the type https://www.mydomain.com/?post_type=guest-author&p=34497 , which correspond to empty pages.
No way to add author pages to menu but in useful format?
Sure, I know I can do it manually.
