    Hi @neilgee,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The MonsterInsights notification in your screenshot is appearing because the plugin is not yet configured to begin tracking. To dismiss that notice, please go to Insights ? Settings and click on Connect MonsterInsights.

Here is a guide you can follow as well: https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/connect-google-analytics/

Once you’ve successfully connected to your Google Analytics property the notification will disappear.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have further questions.

    Thanks!

I understand – but it is more user friendly and follows developer etiquette to let the user dismiss the notice and they can decide to configure at a later stage.

If all nags weren’t dismissible imagine all the clutter.

    Hi @neilgee,

Updates, announcements, and other similar notifications are dismissible, and if you prefer, announcements can be hidden at Insights ? Settings ? Advanced ? Miscellaneous. If you notice any other notifications which you feel would be more user friendly to be dismissible, please feel welcome to share.

However, for the specific “Please Setup Website Analytics to See Audience Insights” notification in the image shared, it is meant to help avoid confusion for website owners who aren’t aware that MonsterInsights tracking isn’t yet fully operational, until the last step of authenticating or connecting is completed.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Thank you!
