Add class for sticky posts

I would like to suggest an hardcoded class for “sticky” posts.
I know there is a conditional tag “is_sticky()”, but i don’t want to messup or complicate my code.
e.g. like “post-title” a class “post-sticky” for defining another background-color so that “sticky posts” are “highlighted”.
