• I currently purchased Sportspress Pro so that I had access to support on the product, however, it appears to be taking some time to get an answer. So I have decided to turn to the forums and maybe receive some help.

    Currently, I am running a website for a football league. There are two statistical categories that each position can be assigned to: Offense and Defense. I can add a new position, but I cannot add a new category. I would LOVE to add Special Teams category so I can put Kick Returner, Kicker, etc positions under that category.

    I was wondering if there was a way to add new categories or not.

    I’m sorry for the delay on the support channel. Usually it shouldn’t take more than 1 day to get a reply, but if you bump your ticket it resets your waiting time (as we reply items from older to newer).

    We aren’t allowed to provide support to premium products in the free forums (that’s a WP rule) but you should get a reply within one day.

    No problem, they were able to get back to me anyways. My apologies for asking here. If that is the case, what IS allowed to be asked in these forums? That way I know what channel to go in the future and save someone time somewhere. I wasn’t aware that asking if an option was available qualifies as support to a premium product.

    Hi!

    No worries!

    I’m no expert on that but my understanding is that any question that is related to a premium product (even if it’s a feature from the free option as well) is a question from a paid customer, then should be sent in other channels (in our case the ticket system).

    But I’ve added this to a mod can look and let us know if that is correct, or if there’s a better way of dealing with this.

    That’s correct if you have a question about the free version of the plugin (the one hosted here), then this is the right place.

    If it’s about the premium version purchased from elsewhere, that should be handled through their own support portal, where ever that may be ??
