Add Category Filter to page parameters

I am using the NewsFrame Pro theme and will be creating posts that will have one of five categories associated with them. I have created pages for each category and wish each page to display posts with only a specific category.

Can’t there be category filter settings added to the Page Edit Page parameters so your users would not have to delve into php coding? Seems like a feature many users have submitted questions about in your forums, one that would be very useful for many.

It surprises me that it is not a feature in WordPress 4.0 already!
