Add Categories when Creating New Product Woocommerce Issue

I have like a million categories to put my products in, for my Woocommerce store.

I used to be able to add this easily by typing in the category in the ‘+Add new category’ search box; it showed up on the top of the list (and checked) when I typed it and pressed enter.

After the new WordPress update this function disappeared somehow. I now have a hard time adding categories with the long list I have; I have to scroll down and add categories manually.

Is there anything I can do? Other than trying to re-installing the old WordPress again??

Have you taken backup of your old version of WP site ?

Too bad they changed this. I hoped there would be coding way to get it back.
