    Thanks for posting ?? There wouldn’t be a way to enable a Recaptcha on the signup widget itself, but you can definitely add a Recaptcha to the double opt-in process! That way, when someone signs up to your list, they can go through Recaptcha when they confirm their subscription in the confirmation email.

    First, you’ll want to make sure double opt-in is enabled in your plugin’s settings and save. From here, you can go into your MailChimp account > go to the list that’s connected to your plugin form > Embedded forms > scroll down and check the ‘enable reCAPTCHA’ checkbox. This will enable it for your plugin when it’s set to double opt-in.
