    Hi David,

Has anyone tried yet to implement a solution where a button is added to the lightbox (or near the thumbnail etc) so a user can ‘add’ the image. When they click it the image is saved into a separate new mla gallery that they can visit at any time. Analogous to a cart feature. They can browse around and add images and then review them later on a standalone page where this special ‘bookmarked’ gallery’s at.

    thanks,

Good to hear from you again, and thanks for your question.

I am not aware of anything along the lines you’ve outlined. It looks like an interesting application, but rather specific. It would also depend on support from whatever lightbox plugin or theme was used in the site.

I regret the news is not better, but I am marking this topic resolved because I’ve answered the question to the best of my ability. If you do find a solution, consider posting an update here so I and other users can benefit. Thanks!

David your answers are always great. I don’t expect you to provide a solution that’s outside the scope of MLA, and it informs me that I can add that part to my custom work, and that there’s nothing I’ve missed
