Many thanks for the suggestion and sharing the link. Firstly to answer your question in relation to submitting new URLs to Search Console as of WordPress 5.5 there is inbuilt Site Map support:

New XML Sitemaps Functionality in WordPress 5.5

You can access your WordPress sitemap by adding /wp-sitemap.xml to your site homepage URL.

Providing your sitemap is referenced in in the robots.txt file search engines can process this XML based site map during site crawls. As WordPress already sends out ping notifications for new or updated content via rpc.pingomatic.com Search Engines will be notified automatically with any sitemap updates.

You can also feel free to submit your own feature request on the plugins GitHub, which will ensure it get’s further visibility. Note there is an open feature request in relation to Site Map integration, which you may prefer to add further context or details.

I use the plugin “YOAST” to constantly update my Sitemap, but i need a more “customized” function (i connected YOAST with Search Console but i think it is much slower in sending url.

There is no way to dirrectly connect my WordPress site with the Google Search Console? Like the Bing solution? It would be very appreciated!

Thanks again and have a nice day!

I understand. At present Site Kit doesn’t provide any further custom sitemap functionality or customization. You can however open a feature request with your preferences for the team to consider, including your preferences or suggested features from the plugin you shared.

Feature requests are periodically reviewed by our product team, however there is no ETA for such requests being implemented. If you need any assistance opening a GitHub feature request let me know and I’d be happy to assist.
