    Hi!

    I’m trying to find out how to create a field for the Author of the Post, can you give me some ideas?

    To add a new field for the Author of a Post, you can use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). ACF allows you to easily create and manage custom fields in WordPress.

    Here’s a basic outline of the process:

    1. Install and activate the Advanced Custom Fields plugin in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to ‘Custom Fields’ and create a new field group.
    3. Add a new field to this group, setting the field type as ‘User’ which is suitable for an Author field.
    4. Assign this field group to your desired Post type.

    However, if you want to synchronize this new Author field with the Notion WP Sync plugin, you will need the Pro+ version of our plugin. The Pro+ version offers enhanced functionality, including support for ACF and other Custom Fields, making it seamless to map these fields with your Notion database.
