• Resolved innerlooping

    (@innerlooping)

    I just switched my theme to Freshy 1.0, and in doing so, now the blog posts don’t show the author anymore. I have a multi-author blog and I need people to see who authored which post. Is there an option I’m overlooking on this theme, or is there some coding I can add?

  • I use this within my index.php file, see a demo from the link in my username by my reply here.

    Posted by <a href="mydomain.net"><?php the_author_nickname(); ?></a>

    Or, look over here for more options maybe?

    Works brilliantly. I ended up adding the the_author_posts_link() code. Thank you!

    You’re welcome, can the status of this thread be changed to [Resolved] now, or..? ??

    Yes, its resolved.

    Its one of those, ‘give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime’ kinds of things. I now know how to add and manipulate all kinds of codes in the post meta data and elsewhere. Thanks again.
