Add Announcement Start and End Time

    First of all, thanks for making a useful plugin. Your hard work is appreciated.

    Request 1: Add “Announcement Start Time” and “Announcement End Time” fields. Then allow plugin to order announcements by date and start time.

    Request 2: Announcement timeline blurb display Start and End Times along with Date.

    Some of my websites have conventions that last a single day to a full week. It would be nice to have a timeline of events in chronological order based on their date and start time. This would allow attendees see the convention’s schedule in a nice graphical interface.

    Hey Wcmaster,

    As the plugin sits now it certainly is possible to get this done. I helped out another user with this modification. It involved defining a new metabox field and using the filters built into the plugin to alter the way the date is outputted on the front end of the site.

    I can see about putting together some documentation, or a tutorial of some sorts on the process.

    Hey Wcmaster,

    I went ahead and put together this documentation:

    You should be able to copy and paste the block of code at the bottom of the tutorial directly into your themes functions.php file.

    Let me know if you have any issues.

    One thing to note, and it’s outlined in the article, the <style> tags had an issue parsing on the site so there is a space between the < and style, so you’ll want to delete that.
