    Hello,

I use a menu based on product_cat which gives me the sub categories of a parent product category. And this works very well.

But, I’d like to add an another item to my menu (an another product_cat which is not a child of the product category that my IKS menu expose).

    Is it possible ?

I tried to use “Include terms” (Comma/space-separated string of term ids to include.) to include this new item (I set 2200, the produc-cat id that I want to add). But without success. So I don’t understand what this function is for.

Thank a lot for any help.
    Best regards

Hello, can you please clarify: are you using the “Parent” setting?

You probably should not use “Include terms” setting with “Parent”, it’s better to use only “Include terms” for 2 categories (like “123, 456”).

    Hello,

    Thanks for your answer.

Indeed, There are surely some things I don’t understand…

I mainly use 2 IKS menu.

One for displaying the subcat of “Jewels” (cat=672), and one for displaying subcat of “Knots crafts”.
I would like to add within these 2 menus, a external cat called “Gift cards” which is NOT a child of “jewels”, nor “Knots Crafts” .

For example, the first menu displaying the subcat of “Jewels” (672) is mainly configured like this:

    Menu source Taxonomy
    Taxonomy Catégories de produits (product_cat)
    Child of 672
    Parent nothing (default setting-“number”)

And I thought it was pertinent to use “Include terms” to add the “gift cards” cat (its id).
And others settings which probably are not relevant to the issue.

So, to answer your question: no, I do not use “parent” setting.

    But, I don’t understand your 2nd sentence.

Thanks a lot for your clarifications about what it’s possible to do.
    Best regards
