add an extension to permalink CPT

  • Hi,

    I have a CPT registered and I’m trying to customize the permalink structure for the CPT so it looks like this:

    My CPT is Term1

    Then I have entry1 under Term

    I want the structure to be like this:

    /label/entry.html

    The .html is the part I’m having a huge struggle with.

    I’m currently using ‘rewrite’ => false, in the CPT, as it isn’t flexible enough for what I need.

    I’m not sure what to use for the rewrite rules. I’ve been scouring the web trying to find something that looks close, but I haven’t found anything.

    Any ideas?
