Add ajax for add to cart in detail page

  • Hi,

    I would like to propose a feature on GitHub but I don’t see that section. Please let me know why this is not a part of WooCommerce or if this can be added.

    Feature suggestion:
    When we are in the shop pages and see all products, we click on add to cart an it does add it to cart without page refresh. Very nice!

    But when we are in product details page itself and click on add to cart, it does refresh the page. Why can’t you add ajax to it, just like in the shop pages? So it does not refresh the page.

    We don’t use ajax on single pages because it would break plugins which have extra form fields such as product addons. There isn’t really much benefit to doing it on single pages anyway since you can only add one product to the cart.

    It’s more user friendly when you have ajax everywhere instead of reloading a page. I saw in version 2.6, that the cart page will get ajax when removing or adding more quantities. That’s a plus! I was hoping that it will get ajax in product detail page as well. Maybe one day hopefully.
