Add a custom php code

Hi, im using this plugin and i need to create the single portfolio item with the COMMENT options. As the developer wrote here https://visualportfolio.co/documentation/faq/how-to-add-comments-section-on-single-portfolio-pages/ , by default the comments are disabled but i can enable it by adding a custome php code. How exactly shall i do it? Where to insert it? Thanks in advance!
