• Hi, I know that the Karuna theme only supports 1 topline menu at present, but due to the fussy client I’m working with, he wants a portion of the menu moved out of the main menu.

You can see what I am trying to achieve HERE as I have mentioned before when seeking help with this site, it is a combination of HTML and WordPress, for reasons that I won’t really go into, but it has a lot to do with how easily things can be customised.

I have created a secondary menu with the 2 links I want in it called “Members”, so all I really need is some help to add it, I am assuming that will need to take place with some php which I am hopeless at.

Something else he wants done is to add some of links removed from the main menu down into the footer, I have done that in a text widget, but in order to do that I had to remove something else from the footer as I have now used all 4 of the footer widgets.

What I have done is add what I had to remove to the “Full-width Footer” section, but that is on top of the footer widgets and I would like to move it to below them.

If the menu problem is not easily solvable, then at the very least I would like to sort out the footer part.

    Kindest Regards

    UPDATE:

I have solved the footer issue by adding a div to the footer.php file in my child theme

    Hi there!

I’m glad you were able to solve the footer issue.
As for the menu, I’m afraid this is out of the scope of our support here.

Have you considered using some of the menu plugins for adding that second menu?

Thanks for the response, I found a post on Wpmuev that kind of tells you how to add it via functions.php and header.php but I just cannot get it onto the same line as the menu and it sits just below it.

I also tried a plugin but it gives me the same result, I’m hoping he might settle for that.

    Thanks for the reply.

Can anyone tell me how to add something to the right of the site-branding-wrapper with a bit of php please, that is where it really needs to be, I wish I could upload a screenshot to show it clearly.

You can upload the screenshot to an online tool, such as https://snipboard.io/, and paste the link to your reply.

I can’t help with the PHP but maybe another user will be able to do that.
