    Yes, you can do that, just add another search box. You can adjust the parameters by adding hidden input fields to the search form. What kind of restriction are you thinking of? If you can restrict the search by post type or taxonomy, that would be simple; restricting to an arbitrary set of posts is trickier.

    Thanks for the fast reply! I’ll give it a try. Do I add this to the code for adding a search form that you have on your website ? I don’t see any other way to add a search form besides using a widget. I don’t think there’s an easy way to edit the widget settings, at least not that I’m aware of. I’ll also have to figure out the css because using a widget looks good but using the code has some styling issues. I think I can figure it out though.

    Yes, you need to add the search form in HTML, which of course gives you the liberty of styling it anyway you want and placing it anywhere you like to. You can just copy the HTML source code generated by your current search widget.
