Add a search form before event list shortcode

  • Hi,

    I need to add a search form as the events page above the event list shortcode.

    It is any way to do that????

    On the homepage i have this shortcode but only show the vents but not a search form above:

    [events_list scope=”future” limit=5 pagination=1]

  • I need to do this as well and I’m sure many others do.

    It works fine if you use the default Events page that EM installs and tick the option in Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives to ‘show events search’. However, this page is difficult to style to match your theme’s style/layout. If you use any other page for the Events page no search form appears. I tried adding has_search=”1″ to the events_list shortcode but this didn’t do anything.

    It’s a real pain. The simplest way would be to add a search option to the events_list shortcode. Come on devs, get this fixed.
