    Good morning!

We have been testing, because the cash on delivery percentage is applied in the cart when you select the shipping, on that page of the cart, then an incorrect amount appears as I see that the problem is when I activate the plugin: “Checkout for WooCommerce”.

I have been told from woocommerce support to comment here

The case is that the configuration of this plugin that makes the cash on delivery payment is fine but I do not know why a sum is made in the cart as if it were marked. I attach a screenshot of the configuration. If I deactivate it, when the customer makes the cash on delivery selection it will not add the amount, which is what happened to me in another test I have done.

What can I do? Thank you very much for your help

Hi, sorry for the trouble; I’m happy to have a look, but I need to be able to reproduce the issue myself and understand what the problem is, which is still a bit unclear to me (maybe it was lost in the translation using some sort of Google Translate to describe your issue?).

Could you explain step by step how to fix the issue (and what you get and expect to get) on the clean install? Make screenshots in English; I don’t understand Spanish at all. Please also provide me with a link to the Checkout for WooCommerce plugin.

    Thanks!
    Karolina

No problem, I’ll explain it again more clearly. It is not possible to pass the screenshots with the text in English, I provide a reliable translator https://www.deepl.com/translator

In this first screenshot I add the product to the cart and the total price is correct.

But in this second screenshot when I add the shipping site, it adds a cash on delivery charge (we have seen that it is for this plugin and the charge only has to be done if you choose it on the checkout page). In this screenshot appears in the calculator the price that should come out, price of the product + shipping. But in the box on the right is increased and it is not correct.

Can you clearly see the error? Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello @vyskoczilova, we have had no response to this ticket. Is it being reviewed?

    Thanks for support!

Hi @desarrollomarksonoma, sorry for the late reply, but since it’s a free plugin and I support it in my free time, I need it to do so.

I see the issue, but I do no know how to reproduce it. Give me step-by-step instructions (go here, click here, etc.) to achieve this or, even better reproduce the error at my test site here (it’s temporary and will be destroyed after a week).

    Thanks and best regards,
    Karolina

Good! I have already commented that it happens.

    If you go to https://extinhouse.es

Add a product to the cart. Then go to the cart and select the cart a shipping site, add an amount that we see that is refund without selecting payment method, so it shows a price that is not.

In the other screenshots it has been explained perfectly, I can’t explain it in any other way. I’m going to have to look for another plugin because I see that it is not helping me and there is no other way to explain it.

Hi, I really understand your frustration. You’ve probably turned the plugin off, so I cannot see the issue myself.

Maybe I got lost in the translation, so last try: If you see the payment fee in the cart (while no payment method is selected yet by the user), it’s because WooCommerce selects the first method as selected automatically, and therefore, it’s applied. If you reorder the payment methods and move the one without the fee as the first one, there won’t be shown any fee on the cart.

Unfortunatelly I cannot debug on a live site where I don’t have access to all parameters, and I cannot find a bug just by looking at it. I need to be able to reproduce it myself on a clean install (so I set it up exactly as you have it).

Good morning! We have checked and reordered. We don’t know what it could be but it doesn’t make sense for the cart to do that.

The plugin was active and configured when we replied to the ticket. We will have to try another plugin.

Hi, I understand, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for finding a plugin that helps you. Regarding the cart behavior, it maybe doesn’t make sense, but it really works like this: The first option is taken as the default.

    Good luck!
    Karolina
