Add a PDF file selector

Hi!
i am trying to add a file selector on a custom widget via a media control https://developers.elementor.com/elementor-controls/media-control/

It works fine, but i cant select pdf files, i have checked and the post_mime_type of the selector is set to “image”

Do yo now is there any way to change it?
