There is a block in the block based WC checkout called ‘Order Note’ with the description ‘Allow customers to add a note to their order.’

It looks like it’s added by default towards the end of the checkout area where it’s labelled ‘Add a note to your order’ and the field has the placeholder “Notes about your order, e.g. special notes for delivery.”

This is a really handy block appreciated by customers.

When a note is added, it appears in the ‘new order’ email along with the other order information.

Surprisingly however I have been unable to find the order note within the actual single order page.

Feels like it’s a piece of data that definitely should be in there along with the other order information.

Perhaps something in my install is interfering with the display – should the customer order note be appearing on the single order page?

    Thanks

    Hey @bob33

I’ve just tested on the latest version of WooCommerce and the order notes added during checkout is indeed showing in admin area for an order. Here’s what I’m seeing on my testing site:

It’s below the “Shipping Address” section in the top right-hand side – The area is called “Customer provided note:

Are you seeing that on your side at all?

    Thanks!

Thanks @riaanknoetze – that’s exactly where I’d expect to find it!

Not appearing there on our site, so I’ll dive into the staging site and start looking at plugin conflicts etc.

    Thanks!
