Add a new theme?

  • Hi all, I’ve started a new blog at https://www.thoughtsfromthefront.com and want to change the theme.

    In my dashboard, I select my chosen theme (flashcast in this case) and click ‘install’. I then get prompted for this info:

    Hostname:
    Username:
    Password:
    Connection Type: FTP or FTPS (SSL)

    Is the hostname simply ‘localhost’?

    And are the username and password the same things I enter for accessing the dashboard? I’ve tried it but the install doesn’t seem to work…should be easy to fix but the login info I have doesn’t take me anywhere.

    Maybe a problem with my host settings?

    These are the same FTP login credentials that you use to access your server via FTP. If you don’t them, contact your hosting provider.

    I have the same problem. I am a new and I am tired of setting up my site already.I host my domain and I don’t know what is going on with my cpanel. I think this is the sign that I will give up
