• Hi,
I love your plugin, really easy and useful. It almost does everything I want, however I do have something in mind that I’d like to do and wondering if its possible.
Is it possible to add a marker point to a longitude/latitude corordinate on the map, so viewers can see the live tracking pointer moving towards the marker?
This would be great, as you’ll be able to see the start point, moving history and the ultimate destination.

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

Waypoint support in Trackserver is on the roadmap, but that will be a big change that is going to take a while to develop.

At this time you have one option, which is using a GPX or KML file.

Look for ‘External files’ on https://www.grendelman.net/wp/trackserver-wordpress-plugin/ for an example. External files can be combined with live tracks on the same map, so you should be able to do what you described.

    Cheers,
    Martijn.

    Hi,
Thanks for your quick response… understood, I’ll take a look at that option. Now that i’m thinking about that, I should be able to create a KML file dynamically and then be able to use that.

    Thanks for your help
