• Hi Guys,
    I am using 1.1 beta dated 10/02/2004.
I read on the ‘Add Link’ section of admin that the ‘drag’ link does not work in IE, I just tried it using IE6 and it workds fine ??
‘You can drag Link This to your toolbar and when you click it a window will pop up that will allow you to add whatever site you’re on to your links! Right now this only works on Mozilla or Netscape, but we’re working on it.’
By the way, I would still like to know how you export this list as an OPLM in 1.1 ??
    Thanks
    Karl

  • I guess we should update that text.
Did I miss your post before on OPML export? Sorry bout that. You should be able to load wp-links-opml.php in your WP root folder to get the export.

Nope. I just downloaded a copy of FeedDemon (ot: bleah: why do people love that incredibly busy program? I want to read, not to look at my program’s pieces and parts), tried to add a WP/Blogrolling-style “links OPML” file, and got an alert from FeedDemon saying “there are two types of OPML lists, and this is the other sort, with web page URLs not RSS feed URLs, so I can’t use that.”

Well now that we support RSS feed URIs in the links manager (a hint of things to come) let me add RSS feed URIs to the OPML file, which is doesn’t seem to do now. It will probably take 2 minutes to actually do but 30 minutes to find the proper way to do it…

    Okay this is done.

    Cool!
    Thanks Matt ??
