• I would like to add a clickable link to the description text of a blogroll link.

In other words, I have a page which displays a list of blogroll links, each with the description text displaying underneath, I would like to make certain words in that description text clickable.

    Is this possible?

I’ve tried adding the linking html code within the “Add Link” section of the “Blogroll” tab, but no luck — my page just displays the code itself, rather than creating the link.

  • I would like to know how to stop WP from stripping html in the description of blogroll entries, too. Anyone?

I’ve had the same issue with category descriptions and while I know that the filtering occurs in the includes/default-filters.php file, commenting out a specific line to try to stop it results in code errors elsewhere.

Anyone understand how to stop some of the html stripping? Without generating other errors?

It seems like this changes from version to version to version and it’s a bit annoying to have to figure it out every time… don’t you think?

anyone? Why in the world would anyone WANT WordPress to remove paragraph tags from a category description? It may TAKE two paragraphs to state things…

And apparently, there’s no real way to stop this… or at least, not anyone who knows about it and who is willing to write it up.

Just commenting out that line in the default-filters.php file causes errors related to line 654 of formatting.php (both files in the includes directory).

    HELP, please!
