add a forum plugin

Hi

I need to install a forum plugin into a wordpress site I am doing but need one that works with the simple membership plugin so the user does not have to register twice on the website just to use the forum to create a topic.

Can anyone recommend a good forum plugin that does this please, I did try bbpress but didn’t seem to work for some reason

What problem did you face with bbpress? What about buddypress?

I tried wpforo and buddypress but had seperate logins I think and could not login using the account already registered on the site with the simple membership plugin

I’ll try bbpress again and note the issues and post them in here as forgot what they were now

Regarding bbpress, the issue I found so far is on https://beechwoodsolutions.co.uk/sites/tftdirectorysite/forums/forum/forum/ I login and it redirects me to the wordpress defaault login page at https://beechwoodsolutions.co.uk/sites/tftdirectorysite/wp-login.php but if I click back in the browser, it has logged me in and I can post a new topic but don’t want front end users to see the default wordpress login page, I just want them to login and then create a new topic
