Add a donation to the cart

Hi this is a beautiful plugin. I am using it on a site that sells other goods and it seems to work well. One question, is there a recommended way to show a link to donate on the cart page? So if the user is buying other items and hasn’t seen the main donation page, I’d like them to see something that says, “Add a donation” before checkout. Thanks.
