I have setup an e-commerce store using Woocommerce and Yoast successfully. It’s using the Storefront theme, and is pretty much plain vanilla.

There are the stock 8 pages and items have been added. The store works fine.

The website directory hierarchy is https://www.domain.com/shop

The index file at https://www.domain.com/index.htm auto-forwards to https://www.domain.com/shop

Because Yoast doesn’t see the store items as WordPress Posts it doesn’t provide any SEO values for the site. I want to add some Posts to help my SEO profile. I think that by adding a Library of documents related to my products is one way to do this.

The point at which I am confused is the directory hierachy.

If I create a new Page of Library in WooCommerce I can’t write WordPress Posts to it. However I could put links on the Libary Page to files stored at
https://www.domain.com/libary – however these still aren’t WordPress Posts.

    What am I missing?
