Add a clickable link in the description field

  • Hello,
    first of all thank you very much for this wp plugin. Simple and easy to use also for me that i am not a wordpress master.
    So, I would like to add a clickable link in the description field: it could be an e-mail address or even another web link. I already know there is a proper field where to add a web link but can i do the same in the description field? Is that possible?
    I gave a look in the function.php file but as I wrote you before i am not an expert in wp nor in php language. Thank you again.
