• I am having a small issue with customizing the UserProfilesMadeEasy plugin. https://codecanyon.net/item/user-profiles-made-easy-wordpress-plugin/4109874

Here is what I am trying to do…..
    On the‘Tutor Registration’ page
(starTUTORs.com click ‘Tutor Registration’ on top menu)
there is a submit button that is currently taking visitors to a page that will allow them to select the paid option they wish.

What I would also like to do is have another button next to that submit button that would take them to a Free Trial page.
I have tried to manipulate the code to add another button, but the plugin seems to be stopping me… or… is it my theme… or… maybe it’s something else …. Who knows ?
    Do you ?

Only thing I know is the it’s not this

classes/class-upme.php file and method name is show_register_form

My tech guy said so and… so did plugin support who asked to have a look for me but… who now seem to have vanished.

    FYI,
site has s2member and the InFocus_BuddyPress_Child_Theme
    does this matter ?

We can’t help you with specifics for a commercial plugin because we cannot see the source code. Plugin support is supposed to be part of why people buy commercial plugins, I’m sorry that’s not working out for you.

Your inability to add a button could be due to any number of reasons, but it would be highly unusual for a plugin or theme to actively prevent such changes. However, the code could be obfuscated enough that it’s very difficult to determine how to correctly make the change.

Another possible approach is to use javascript or jQuery to insert the desired HTML into the page after it is loaded into the user’s browser. This technique should work in most cases though there could be a noticeable delay after the page is rendered before the added button appears. Done well, this delay could be made to appear intentional.
