Add a box around the cart and cart total

Hello,

I am using the Boutique child theme of Storefront. Currently I have the following CSS to adjust my primary menu in one line which placed my cart and cart total below the search box and above my menu.

.storefront-primary-navigation .site-header-cart {
  margin-top: -220px;
}

.storefront-primary-navigation .main-navigation {
  width: 100% !important;
}

I’m ok with that placement! However, I am using an image for my header and now the cart and cart total gets a little lost.

I would love to encapsulate the cart and cart total so I can make it stand out a little bit. If that cannot be done, then I would like to increase the size of the cart icon and cart total and change the color of the font and icon (while only making the change applicable to this).
