• Hello,

Years ago I started a page at WordPress.com, and later decided to abandon that site, and continue it on www.remarpro.com. I use the domain [ redundant link removed ]

Recently, I added another domain ([ redundant link removed ]), but accidentally added it to the old site at WordPress.com (don’t ask … I find it very easy to confuse the two).

What I would like to do: have both domains point to this URL: [ redundant link removed ] perhaps with the option to choose which one will be displayed.

Although I have scoured the forums, and found many articles about “transferring your site from WordPress.com to www.remarpro.com” that does not capture my goal.

How can I move the 2nd domain to www.remarpro.com?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • First of all: your question has practically nothing to do with the software we are talking about on www.remarpro.com. Unlike WordPress.COM, there is no hosting of websites here. This is only about the software WordPress.

The domain of yours which already points to the “right” page is registered at Google. There you probably also have your hosting of this website. The 2nd domain you must now move from WordPress.COM to your Google hosting. Then you have everything there under one hat. How you can move a domain from WordPress.COM, you would have to ask their support.

The site https://www.mountainmanmaier.com/ is hosted with Hostgator (though the domain is registered with Google Domains, as @threadi mentioned).

For the domain (not the site), you can keep it with WordPress.com, transfer it to Google Domains (where your first domain is registered), or transfer it to Hostgator (where your first site is hosted). Your choice!

For the website, you’ll have to move it to Hostgator, where the first site is hosted.

As @threadi said, www.remarpro.com does not do any hosting, so you can’t move your site here per se.
