    Hi,

For the past days, I started to get users contacting me that they can’t access the site because of the adblocker pop up feature enabled.

People are saying that they don’t have an ad blocker extension enabled/ installed

Note: the homepage doesn’t have popup enabled

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Remote debugging doesn’t seem to be enabled, please check:

    Sorry, forgot about that.

So I have created a staging URL https://wordpress-461147-1482967.cloudwaysapps.com

where the site is in remote debugging mode & deactivated the caching plugin

It seems ad blocking detection is not enabled?

    ok.

Tested in Chrome, Firefox and Edge and found no false detection.

You don’t need to have ad blocking software installed to trigger ad blocking detection.
Firefox settings Browser Privacy when set to Strict may block many ad networks and trigger ad blocking detection.

    Thanks for the reply,

Yeah i tested the Chrome, Firefox and Edge before contacting for false detection. (i dont why users get false detection)

So you are saying that i could disable the ad blockin detection?

like if you go on this URL where i disalebd the detection, you can;t see the ads on chrome
    https://www.acehsc.net/do-you-struggle-sitting-hsc-exams/

With an ad blocking extentsion on chrome ads are arent visible https://ibb.co/121Mhyb

When you enable AdBlock it blocks ads.

If you can provide steps to reproduce the problem (at least browser used and device) I can try to check what triggers the detection.

But in most cases of “false detection” the users either have some app or browser that blocks ads or are using some privacy settings like in the Firefox.

like the recent “false detection” for my user said the following,

! It isn’t working on both chrome and safari however I am unaware that I have an ad blocker.

What device was used for the test?

Since it works fine in Chrome, Firefox and Edge it seems the issue might be present only on some particualr devices or with some settings.

I would need clear steps to reproduce the issue.

    I assume a MacBook

Can you do some tests on MacBook?

I can prepare some instructions to enable debugging mode to see what exactly triggers the detection.

unfortunately, I don’t have an MacBook

OK. Then make sure remote debugging is enabled and provide the following instructions to those who get false positive:

Visit any page where you get the message of ad blocking detected and append
    ?ai-debug=1&ai-debug-js=1&ai-debug-adb-status=1&ai-debug-adb-events=1
    to the url.

    For example:
    https://wordpress-461147-1482967.cloudwaysapps.com/everything-i-learnt-about-university/?ai-debug=1&ai-debug-js=1&ai-debug-adb-status=1&ai-debug-adb-events=1

This should display AD BLOCKING DETECTED bar on the top showing some event numbers.

Provide those numbers and then I’ll check.

I have same problem, the adblocker pop up appear on my sites when ad blocker is not active on Chrome for Unbuntu.

I already made message here for that, few month ago.

I deactivate the option for that in all my website.

And actually, I read your documentation on chrome, on your website:
    https://adinserter.pro/faq/gdpr-compliance-cookies-consent

And I see the adblocker popup and ad blocker is not active…

In order to diagnose the problem please follow the instructions above and provide device type, browser and ad blocking event numbers.

Once we have this data we can try to reproduce the issue and figure out what is triggering the detection.
