The filter “Fanboys social blocking list” stops buttons appearing in Firefox. It can be disabled but most users wouldn’t know there was anything wrong. Not sure you can do anything about it though unless Adblock change their defaults.

Hi. I had the same issue. Try switching on cache in add to any settings.

Thanks, but doesn’t work for me.

If your site needs sharing enabled for Firefox’s Private Browsing users, then AddToAny’s cache option is a great workaround that should absolutely work for your site.

That is what I did as suggestd by Vahan4033. I have Private Browsing off, remembering history off, and accept cookies.

Sorry if I’m being a nuisance, as I said it seems to be an Adblock problem really.

Ah, Adblock Plus! You’re right, sorry for the confusion — somehow I glossed over both the “Adblock Plus” add-on and the filter list you subscribed to.

Not sure you can do anything about it though unless Adblock change their defaults.

Actually, the option to filter out social media buttons is not enabled by default in Adblock Plus, which is good news for publishers. ??

Thanks for that. You are right about the default filter list (I just reloaded Adblock Plus and the Fanboy list is an option), which is good for you and your users. I don’t know if I had enabled it or the default has changed.
    I’ll close this now.
