Adblock is blocking Complianz Plugin

    Are you aware, that Adblock (I’m using getadblock.com on chrome for mac) is blocking the Complianz Plugin? When Adblock is turned on, the cookie banner is blocked and does not show. Moreover, the “Cookies Policy Page” generated by Complianz is blank.

    I already sent a ticket to the Adblock Plugin team,. hoping they can solve this out.

    I found the same issue on another website using the Complianz Plugin too.

    Hi @guigui500,

    There’s a filter in Adblock called;

    I Don’t Care About Cookies
    blocks cookie notifications, which means that you waive your right to be notified about cookie usage on the websites you visit.

    It’s the same filter that shows the triggers in your screenshot.

    And it seems to be working as expected. As these are user settings, we adhere to their preferences as we do with other settings in the browser as well.

    Thanks for your reply, I wasn’t aware of that filter, but that totally make sense !
    However, I do not remembering activating that filter on my computer but that’s an other problem..

    That said, it seems that when the “I Don’t Care About Cookies” is activated, my other website is broken and do not load : You can take at look at it here : https://www.medicourt.be/

    Hi @guigui500,

    I think the initialization is blocked and throws a jQuery error, maybe the preloader causes a timing issue, however this shouldn’t be an issue with our latest versions as we have dropped jQuery.
