Adapting the search function

Hi there,

I have a private WordPress blog with a premium account, so I am unable to install Plug ins.

I want to somehow adapt the basic search function on the site so I can filter my content by tags as well as just keywords which is all that is possible currently. Is this possible to do without installing plug ins?
