A lot of my clients are seeking ADA compliance to forestall law suits, despite the fact that ADA is not technically required.

I have been surprised not to find others with this similar issue. Does WooCommerce have any stance regarding ADA compliance? Are there extensions that would make a cart compliant?

    Hey there!

While accessibility often comes up, it doesn’t look like there has been a lot of work around ADA compliance for WooCommerce. In a lot of ways, WooCommerce can piggyback off of WordPress’ accessibility efforts.

    I’d recommend starting out here:
    https://woocommerce.com/posts/woocommerce-accessibility-tips/

If this is something that you’d like to contribute to, I’d start by determining if there are any elements of WooCommerce (I’d focus on the backend, as the front end is so customizable by themes) that need work.

    Hi there @papyrusdoc

I hope that link which Hannah provided was helpful.

I haven’t heard back from you in a bit, so I’m going to wrap up this chat. If there’s anything else we can do to help, please let us know!

    Thanks,
