Hello, I’m trying to insert a javascript ad tag into Ad Inserter but it’s not displaying. It displays fine when inserted onto a blank site, but when I put it in Ad Inserter it doesn’t display. Can you help?

Hi Spacetime, the settings are pretty basic.

Automatic display: None
For all users on all devices
Block alignment and style: None
Only on selected pages
URL Whitelist: https://www.thepopnews.com/index.php/test-page/
Enable manual insertion with shortcode: Off
Enable PHP function adinserter for block: Off

Let me know what other info you’ll need.

URL Whitelist is definitely wrong. Use:

/index.php/test-page/

Since Automatic display is None, how should the code be displayed?

OK I’ve set the Automatic Display to Widget, Block Alignment to Center. The Whitelist URL is now /index.php/test-page/

No changes. What should I do now?

Now place this widget into some sidebar.

However, if you would like to insert this code only on some posts/pages you should set “Display only on selected” posts/pages and enable display of this code block on these posts/pages. See FAQ (enable or disable only on specific pages):

Normally you shoud leave URL list empty and select Black list. URL field is meant only for non-posts and non-pages urls.
