Ad Swap?

    Hello! I made a new wordpress site and I was just thinking how I don’t really have the money to spend on advertising on other people’s websites. But I thought of this idea: if I found other people who have a website (even new ones) that need a promotion boost just like me then maybe we can agree to swap adds/links…win win situation, I think and definitely less money! ?? Anyone got any suggestions on how to find people that might be interested in that? Or do you or know anyone who may be?

    My website is photoshopthispic.com so it’d be nice to find other people in similar categories.

    Link exchanges are commonplace. One way to get good results is to find other sites within your niche directly. I can tell you that often times, established sites get requests like this regularly. So they have to pick and choose, especially since the benefit to the new site is much greater than the established site.

    If you really want to increase your chances, become a regular on these targeted sites. You can do that by commenting or providing guest posts. Additionally, many sites offer the opportunity to provide you with a backlink by executing the aforementioned tactics.

    Keep in mind that you do not have to solely rely on other sites either. Other methods of free promotion include using free Google Adsense credits and leveraging social media like Facebook and Twitter.
