Ad sidebar to one page only

    I am building a wensite using 2.9.2 wordpress. I have a blog page but I cannot see posts or comments on it. I have a sidebar added in the functions, index and sidebar.php files but I still can’t see the side bar or anything other than a ‘Leave a Reply’ window on the Blog page.

    Do you have any ideas how I can do this?

  • Unless you provide a link to your site, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

    Not sure if you added your sidebar in PHP or in Widgets but I managed to control what widgets are shown on certain pages using the “Dynamic Widgets” plugin. Might be what you’re after?

    I added code into php to enable the sidebar, then added the widgets I wanted. It’s there in admin, I just can’t see it on my page.

    I have downloaded the dynamic widgets and set it for only the blog page. I still can’t see the sidebar. I must be missing a referencein the code somewhere, but where?

    Are you building this theme yourself?

    yes. I am using Atristeer 2 software to design the template. I guess the easiest way may be to reconfigure the origianal design and upload over my content.
