I have a series of ads that appear in the main sidebar as widgets (the first three widgets are ads, the following are other widgets). I use Advanced Ads to generate the ads then plug them in to widgets. I am hoping to have the top most ad show up “higher” on mobile. Right now, the mobile view shows 20 post previews, then below that, the “sidebar” — I’d like to show 6 post previews, then the ad (the top sidebar widget) then 14 more posts previews, then the rest of the sidebar. Any help is very much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Emily

    Hi Emily,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I assume such a behavior would be best done directly within your theme or page builder if it is possible to create different layouts for mobile and desktop visitors and arrange the widgets accordingly.

Building such a setup using Advanced Ads would be possible using the post list placement and visitor conditions to target your ads for mobile and desktop users.

Another approach might me a fusion from these two approaches, using shortcodes from the manual placement within your theme builder to create these “higher” positions within your layout.

Reaching out to your theme developer might also be helpful.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hi Emily,

I haven’t heard back from you.

Have you been able to resolve your issue or is there still anything I could help you with?

I am also interested in your short feedback if all is fine so that I can close this thread.

    Best regards,
    Henning
