Ad Placement Help!

    I am new to wordpress/blogging/html/css and whatnot. I have everything on my blog the way I want it except the ads. I have a google adsense account and I want to know how to put the add not in my post but in the right side margin where my widgets are placed.     Please help. I see that many blog have put there adds in the same place but I don’t know how they did this. Help!

  • Create the ad you want to display in your adsense account then copy/paste that code into a text widget for your sidebar.

    Yes, I have thought of that but when I added the code in a widget the google adsense “crawler” could’t go through my site to get enough info to display an ad. Was this a fluke thing? Can I still place my ad code into a test widget?

    Okay I tried this and it worked fine. I think the last time it happened was a fluke thing. Thanks!
