Ad inserter and WordPress 4.7

I also can’t get the ‘old css’ file warning to be removed. Turned off WP super cache, cleared cache, cleared browser history, purged cloudflare cache, still get the ‘old css’ warning for ad inserter. Any ideas?

The CSS file in question is the following:
/wp-content/plugins/ad-inserter/css/ad-inserter.css
Maybe it is a false positive. This file is used only for the settings page.
Please open it in browser and check version number on the top.
Please check also for javascript errors.
Some caching plugins/software may incorrectly move some javascripts into footer which breaks page.

I did run the debugger before submitting the support request and found the ad units in their locations just not displaying after 4.7 upgrade, have you tested on 4.7, just trying to find where my issue is coming from.

Please use Log Processing to find out why blocks are not inserted.

I already upgraded few blogs (including multisite) to 4.7 and did not experience any issues.

Thanks the quick response and for the advice for log processing. I’ll investigate further. And thanks for confirming that 4.7 doesn’t appear to be the issue. The other sites in the group I’m working on since updated to 4.7 without issue, so it’s odd that this site is having trouble.

Just closing this out as solved. For some reason the google ad script got wiped out from theme settings in the header when updating to WordPress 4.7 on one of the group of sites I’m working on. I pasted the code back in to the theme settings, hit the save button and ads are displaying fine. Thanks for pointing me to log processing… that confirmed that the ads were trying to display. I ended up finding the error when Safari’s Error Console showed that googletag didn’t exist. Then I went looking for why the ad code couldn’t find it. And hey, the script wasn’t in the header.
