Ad blocking does not work with AdGuard

    Hello. A question for the plugin developers. After the last update of the plugin, both in the paid version and in the free version, ad blocking in browsers with AdGuard stopped working. With other blockers, such as Adblock or Adblock Plus, blocking works well (I use a pop-up message for users with ad blocking).

    I have read many of your answers in tech support, as well as read all the instructions on your site and agree that fighting blockers is a cat-and-mouse game, but still, maybe you can find a solution!?

    I also tried using shortcodes to change or hide text, but they didn’t work. The shortcodes did not work for a simple editor, and I also use the Page Builder plugin from SiteOrigin, but the shortcodes did not work here either.

    Hello,

    you are saying that “ad blocking in browsers stopped working”. This has nothing to do with Ad Inserter – it does not block anything, it can only try to detect if ad blocking is used.

    I assume you mean that on your website Ad Inserter ad blocking detection does not detect when AdGuard?is used. I just checked and on the test site it works fine as long as you have enabled External scripts to be used for detection:

    You are right, the detection of ads with AdGuard has stopped working. All external scripts are enabled – the check mark is checked.
