I’ve just tested it with Adblock Plus and it’s working as expected.

Could you please advise about uBlock Origin.

    Thank You!

This is a neverending cat and mouse game.
In any browser you can easily abort any javascript code you don’t like.
It seems they updated detection methods for ad blocking detection code.

Remote debugging doesn’t seem to be enabled.
    Please check.

Yes, it’s a cat and mouse game. We need to keep updating.

Please note that I have enabled Remote debugging.
    Could you please check now?

    Many Thanks!

Can you please try this development version:

    Thank you @spacetime, much appreciated!

I have tried this development version and it’s working as expected. Many Thanks!

However, the blocking style when using uBlock Origin Chrome extension is different from Adblock Plus.

When using uBlock Origin, I am getting a white or purple color screen for the entire page when displaying the Ad-block message. You can browse my site and check it.

For Adblock Plus extension, it’s working fine with a Black screen. I am not sure about other Ad Blocking extensions. I have tried only those 2.

Here are my Message CSS and Overlay CSS settings:

    width: 400px; padding: 30px; border: 5px solid #f00; border-radius: 5px; background: #181818; color: #fff; z-index: 97416257

    background: #000; opacity: 1;

    Could you please advise?

    Thank You!

    This is normal.
uBlock uses a very aggressive approach and aborts javascript code as soon as ad inserter code is detected. Therefore, in order to prevent possible approaches to remove ad blocking detection message and accessing the page content, the elements below the message are “modified”.
Please note that when uBlock triggers detection code, it aborts Ad Inserter Javascript code and consequently no client-side function will work.

A much beter way than ad blocking detection is content protection:

Thank you @spacetime for the great work, much appreciated!

To be honest, I did not understand the alternative approach documented here:
    https://adinserter.pro/documentation/ad-blocking-detection#content-protection-free

Another very simple approach is possible to hide the content from users using aggressive ad blockers – it works also with the free Ad Inserter. Do the following:

Put the content you would like to protect into a block and set insertion options to insert it where you would like to have the content on the page.
Make sure Alignment is NOT set to No wrapping – such block needs a wrapping div
    Enable client-side device detection
    Select Insert method
Enable all (or only wanted) device types (viewports)
When adblocker will abort Ad Inserter javascript code, it will consequently also prevent the code for inserting this block from running so the block will not be inserted.

    Could you please elaborate more?

    Thank You!

If you would like to protect some interesting content (text for example) from users using such aggressive ad blockers, you need to insert this contnet with Ad Inserter.

Remove it from the post and insert it there with Ad Inserter as instructed on the page.

The easiest way is to put the content into a block, enable shortcode for the block and put the shortcode in the post where the content should be inserted.
Just make sure you follow all the steps described on the documentation page.

    Ah, Ok. Thank you @spacetime!

I will stick with the current configuration, it’s working fine with (uBlock Origin) aggressive detection. No content is visible on the white page.

Did you check my site from your side with (uBlock Origin), any feedback?

    Hello @spacetime,

Please note that Ad Block Detection is not working again after the last update for uBlock Origin.

I am using Ad Inserter version 2.7.3.

I’ve tested it using uBlock Origin Chrome extension. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en

    Your help is highly appreciated.
