I just upgraded to ad inserter pro and tried activating while the free version was activated. issue is, that did not work. I tried deactivation of the free version and that did not work, I tried deleting and that did not work. I went to host admin and tried deactivation and that did not work. I tried deleting and that worked but got a message in plugin file saying as inserter file is missing. I then installed pro version and that did not work and so we are back to I can not deactivate free version and I cannot activate pro version. I am stuck with this issue and I just got the pro version cause of ad blockers that the normal ad block blocker did not work for.

    Hello,

the issue you described is prtetty unusual and indicates some issues with the database or file permissions. I would suggest to delete both plugins (ad-inserter and ad-inserter-pro folders) from the /plugins/ folder. Then try to install the plugin from scratch. The plugin settings of the previous installation shall remain as they are stored in the database.

Since you are a Pro user I would suggest contacting Pro support at https://adinserter.pro/contact#help – they should be able to diagnose and fix the issue.

Thanks so much man, it was the database that had an issue. Fixed now. I have a question though, I use auto ads and ad inserter so I am wondering if they conflict with each other..

    2) I have an ad block user problem that has been on my head for a while, I have few users that allow ads and so I am stressed so much due to the site revenue taking a plunge. Google is wicked whenyou only have a certain amount of users and so, they either give blank ads or the page rpm takes a dive. Is there a specific setting to block them ad blocker users or limit what they can do.

    1. No. You can have Auto Ads in addition to ads inserted by Ad Inserter. However, with Auto ads you have practically no control over ad placement:
      https://adinserter.pro/documentation/adsense-ads#auto-ads
    2. You can’t block users. The best approach is to protect some content – insert it via the plugin (if possible). So if the user uses ad blocker then this content might be blocked – unavailable to him. This may force them to whitelist your website.
