actuality.log reborn! — Please critique

Please check it out and let me know what you think! It’s nearly there, with some validation issues at points. Comments are welcome both on aesthetics and content.
(Boring spiel follows. Don’t mind me.)
actuality.log is based on actuality (screenshot), a very minimal (1 column, arbitrary width) theme for WordPress which keeps the focus on what’s important–your content. I was getting tired of the trend where people would come up with the most elaborate and eye-candy filled layouts, but had little to contribute by way of actual content. Or worse, sometimes had fun things to say, but you were too busy clicking their shiny widgets to notice.
Stop the madness! Remove all the unnecessary graphical elements! Can the JavaScript! Don’t even think about AJAX!
Tell them NO! Tell them you don’t buy large, high resolution screens to see teeny-tiny content crammed somewhere in the centre of the screen. Tell them we know what’s really important.
Go forth, write. And write well.
