ActivityPub & WordPress Mobile App Compatibility

  • Loving the ActivityPub plugin.

    I post often from my mobile device. Activity pub does not federator posts created via the official WordPress mobile apps.federator posts created via the official WordPress mobile apps.

    This requires me to utilize my mobile browser to log into the backend of my website, in order to create posts which activitypub will properly federate.

    It is not the most elegant of workflows; it introduces a bit of friction in terms of creating content.

    Is there a means by which activitypub and the official apps might work together?

    this is weird, because there should be no difference between posting through the Web-UI and the Mobile-App.

    Have to check that.
