Active or not active

Hi!
I have a suggestion on a function I would like.

The possibility to turn on and off the badges.
For instance, I run a recipe site that have over 600 recipes. Now I would like to add a “Tested” badge to all the recipes that we have tried out. We would like to do so with the badges not active, so that they won’t show until we have gone through all the posts first and when we are done, we can activate them and they all show up at the same time.
